Bonsai Pine Bark

Pine bark is commonly used as a component in bonsai soil mixes to retain moisture and to house humic acid and beneficial bacteria.  Our pine bark is said to last up to 10 years in a pot.  Monterey pine bark was dried, aged then carefully chipped and sieved to the appropriate size for bonsai soil use.
