We do have kits to make this item, they require you to purchase a 500# hydraulic table from your local Harbor Freight.  This kit will require someone with good mechanical ability and tools.  The kit can be found at: PT Bonsai Wagon kit 

The PT Bonsai Wagon by Potted Tree Gadgetry is perhaps the best way ever made to move your heavy trees.  The cart has off road tires with a handle so it can be pulled through grass, stone or over the pavement.  The cart has a hydraulic top that can handle up to 500 pounds.  Pump you tree up using the foot pump to work on it at the proper height or slide it to your bonsai display area.  The tires are flat free and will never need air.  The front handle controls steering.

Worth it if you have large trees

I love this hydraulic lift wagon. It’s a real back saver if you have large trees. Being able to adjust height easily while working on large trees is terrific, and the fat wheels let you transport trees across grass and rocks without tipping over gouging up the lawn. If that’s you situation, it's worth the money. I’ve had mine for only a couple of months so far, but it comes fully assembled (yay), and it looks very durable.

Only writing as a personal opinion, the cost of the Bonsai Cart was out of my routine budget and required me to save, over a period of time, to purchase it, A series of orthopaedic surgeries did not make this purchase a luxury item, but an essential item for me to continue at least some of my gardening hobby. During the time that I was saving for this purchase, I had invested ample time to locate another cart of similar design and that was of lesser expense; however, this invested time only assured me that the Hydrolift Bonsai Cart was the most robust construction, and the highest quality, for the advertised price. Having received the cart, and also having already put it through-the-paces, it is also my informed judgement that anyone who elects to purchase this item will be nothing short of completely is built-to-last, and its fit, form and function both meet and exceed all reasonable expectations. As-indicated, this item will arrive by freight attached to wood shipping frame and covered with a customary heavy-gauge cardboard shipping box. If you have a disability as I do, having another set of (healthy) hands for unpacking, maneuvering and eliminating waste can only be helpful, It is my hope that those who are riding-the-fence on making this purchase will be influenced to consider taking-the-plunge, as for me it was certainly the correct decision.

Beautiful piece of equipment

I love this cart and will buy another one soon. My only critique is that I wish it had a brake, but its a small issue. How come it took me 40 years to realize that I don't have to do all the lifting and moving of my large trees without help. I wish I bought this years ago.

    It is not stainless and must be kept out of the weather.

We have no control over how trees are cared for once in your possession. Therefore, by purchasing this tree, you acknowledge that we, the seller, provide no warranties expressed or implied after the tree is delivered. This tree is sold "AS IS" and this sale is considered final. No refunds or exchanges will be offered after the tree is purchased. We will only ship healthy trees. We will require a signature on most trees over $100USD. If the box arrives damaged, please take pictures and make note with the shipping company prior to signing. Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Plants + Trees Shipping: Shipping may be delayed to prevent the tree from sitting in a warehouse over a weekend or holiday. Most trees ship Monday-Wednesday. We do not ship trees to PO, FPO, or APO boxes. We also do not ship trees out of the continental US or to California.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: All orders (under $99 USD or Wholesale) will be presented with shipping options that are calculated based on the item weight, box size, and distance from our shipping location.  We currently only use Fedex.
Free Shipping: All RETAIL orders over $99.00 USD ship free within the continental USA. Free shipping will be the lowest cost option from FedEx.

In-Store Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our warehouse. We are located at:

International Shipping

How do I Check the Status of my Order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within a reasonable amount of time, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

Show Pickup & The Superfly Express

We attend 7-10 shows a year (if not cancelled), mostly on the east coast. Please check our calendar to see if we may be attending a show close to your location, and we can arrange to bring your order for pickup at the show.  No minimum.

We started the Superfly Express shortly after the Covid-19 pandemic started.  We did this as a way to get products to wholesale customers with no shipping fee.  We basically will deliver your order on one of our trips to your area for free if the order is over $1000 and you are close to our route.  We will also deliver retail customers orders over $1000 if they don't want to utilizer our free shipping for whatever reason.  We currently only travel east of the Mississippi river and have 4 routes.
